ontopIT / partnerships

Build New York's next tech talent with us.

ontopIT Academy is corporate-led community investment: a free, inclusive talent pipeline for young New Yorkers. We are looking for partners who want to shape it from the start.

Partnerships are being developed. No employer, apprenticeship host or funder is confirmed yet. Partner names and logos will appear only with their consent.

Intended outcomes

What we plan to measure.

Partners should see clear evidence of what the Academy achieves. These are the measures we intend to track. Targets will be set with partners and labelled as proposed until results exist.

  • Enrolment and cohort completion
  • Technical skills, assessed at the start and end of the cohort
  • Portfolio projects completed and reviewed
  • Career readiness: CV, portfolio, interview practice
  • Paid opportunities secured: jobs, apprenticeships, freelance work
  • Earnings and placement follow-up after the cohort
  • Participant wellbeing feedback, including the sport programme
Funding model

How the Academy is intended to be funded.

The Academy is free for participants. We expect to fund it through a mix of grants, corporate sponsorship and appropriate contributions from ontopIT's commercial work, subject to eligibility and confirmation.

No grant has been awarded yet. Legal structure and governance for the Academy are being finalised.
